Birdhive creates a “duplex” birdhouse, designed to accommodate 2 cavity nests for birds including Parakeets, Robbins, and Blue Tits. As part on an ongoing series, this birdhouse is crafted from discarded hardwoods, composed into strips, CNC cut and then hand carved to create a form that appears both artificial and organic. This series will redress the bird-nesting crisis, providing new spaces for future generations to hatch, and support multi-species cohabitation.
